ABOUT THIS PROJECT

A longer view, a closer look

Meet AgingScope: a bilingual project exploring aging science and healthspan with curiosity and care.

A longer view of aging science

AgingScope is a bilingual project exploring how we age and what research can tell us about healthspan. We bring together questions about mechanisms, measurement, everyday function, drug research and emerging interventions.

Our starting point is curiosity. Our commitment is to make the evidence and the reasoning understandable, including their limits.

One project, two languages

You can read AgingScope in English or Chinese. Both editions draw on the same research records, while the writing is adapted to make sense in each language. Use the language switch to move between corresponding pages.

AgingScope grows out of the Chinese knowledge site Changshou.wiki. That site remains available. Its existing articles are historical publications; their presence there does not mean they have been re-reviewed for this project. Updated work will be identified when it is ready.

What you will find here

The website brings together research areas, our approach and reviewed articles. Our opening investigation examines aging clocks through original sources, public-data reanalysis and mechanism calculations, with downloadable reproduction files. Start with the research collection.

As the collection grows, each article will connect an answer to the evidence that supports it. Some questions may have a qualified answer; others may remain open.

How to read this project

AgingScope is a science communication project. Our articles are intended to support understanding and inquiry. Read the scope, evidence cutoff and review information alongside the conclusion.

The research approach explains how we handle sources, competing explanations, uncertainty and revisions.
